Amy Becker has
also been riding since she was 4 years old. She has
been teaching lessons for 5 years and is currently
a Junior at Houghton College majoring in
business and minoring in equestrian studies.
Amy got her first horse, Mr. Wonderful, at age 15
and says, "He is well worth waiting for." Her dream is
that they will make it to the Olymics
together. Amy and Wonder have
jumped 4'3" and have a passion for eventing and
enjoy constant improvement in dressage work.
Amy has trained for 2 years with Carel
Eijkenar and has won many ribbons i ncluding a couple of
championships. They have competed at the Stuart Horse Trials
and the GVRDC, and the Genesee Valley Hunt
as well as others. The highlight of
last year (2005) was placing 3rd
of 31 riders in open novice division of the Stuart Horse
Trials. 2006 Stuart Horse trials were also great coming in 10th in
the much more difficult Championship division. Eventing
is her passion and Trinity is excited to have her as
part of their instruction team. Amy is also gifted with
children as well as adult riders.
Kim Strauss, ARI Certified Instructor- (Back up-Fill
In Instructor)
Kim is an ARI Certified Instructor (American Riding Institute
Instructor) and has been teaching for over 13 years. Kim is
incredibly encouraging and talented horse woman who comes down from
Rochester to fill in periodically when Amy is on the show
circuit. Kids and parents alike LOVE Kim and if you took one
lesson you'd see why! Also, Kim is pursuing her natural
horsemanship certification with Frank Bell's 7 step safety system,
therefore you can have a ground work lesson with Kim & your own
horse or with one of Trinity's lesson horses.

Testimonial: "I've been taking
lessons from Sarah for over a year and half now, she's great!
She has such a positive attitude and is so encouraging, it makes my
lessons so fun. That and she really speaks in a way that I can
easily understand." Chrissy Gibson (current student)
