Shannon P. Part Timer/Lead Chores
crew ; Shannon grew up working in a Saddlebred
Show Barn and is trained in Saddle Seat.
She's a long time horse owner recently apopting a 40 year old
pony and the love of her life (besides her husband) was a 5 gaited
saddlebred named "Hagen." Shannon is a friendly, peaceful addition
to our horse handling team and is a competent
handler. She also has a keen eye when working
with the horses daily and always goes the extra mile for the
horses benefit and takes extra steps to allow them to just be a
horse. You can see Shannon these days either taking immaculate
care of the horses and barn (not a spec in her stalls) or
expanding her knowlege retraining herself via lessons and
practice in hunter/jumper. Stay tuned for some upcoming
changes for Shannon as she prepares to take on a bigger and more
strategic role in the Stables as a NARHA (North American Riding for
Handicapped Association Inc) certified instructor. We're
early in the process but moving steadily forward!
