The Wyoming County Fair show in Pike, NY August 13th and 14th
was another successful fair for the Trinity Riders and our
amazing horses, despite a lot of mud and muck!! We're glad to
have Simone join our show team, and she proved a valuable and
helpful team member, showing Buddy in English and Western divisions,
plus doing halter and showmanship! Despite limited training
time with Buddy, Simone rode beautifully and won ribbons in
showmanship, halter, and equitation. Michaela also showed
Buddy for the first time and looked great on him, showing in both
the junior and open (adult) divisions in walk-trot-canter! As
the smallest rider in an open road hack class of almost 30
adults, she impressed everyone by making it to the final cut!
Jennie and Sarah looked good on
Rusty as usual, with Jennie winning English pleasure
and command, and winning the Junior English grand
championship! She also showed Western pleasure and won the
trail class (as usual!) Sarah rode Rusty in her specialties,
gaming and Western command! Team coach Sarah Haver had a blast
showing Opie at her last show of the season, winning first place in
open horsemanship, equitation, showmanship, pleasure, and overall
fair English pleasure horse, and winning the senior grand
championship. Way to go Opie!! The trinity riders took
home 10 trophies - some more decorations for our tack room!!

Enjoy our show
